How it works
Know Exactly Where You Stand.
Life is complicated enough; so, we’ve streamlined our design and build process. Our simplified 7- stage process is designed so that step-by-step you know exactly where you are with your website project. Here’s how it works…
Your Free Discovery Consultation.
First things first. Let’s find out more about your business, your goals and ultimately, where you’d like to be in the next five years. Working towards your brand vision, we’ll learn about your target audience, what drives your customers, what challenges they face, and how your products solve those issues.
This ensures that your eCommerce strategy and development team can hit the ground running, brainstorming our initial ideas together and giving you a more specific project timeframe.
We can meet in person at our Adobe Commerce and Magento agency in Manchester, chat virtually if more convenient, or if you aren’t based in the north-west. Whatever works for you.
Project Specification.
Having designed your future-focused strategy to help you smash the targets you told us about in your discovery consultation, our eCommerce specialists will deliver your tailored, technical specification document. Your spec is a summary of your brand’s ambitions and our joint objectives; we’ll outline exactly how we will boost engagement and your conversion rate. We map out the key functionality and site features that you will need in your easy-to-interpret project plan.
UX & UI Design.
Next comes the exciting stage, where you really start to see your new site come to life. Your site wireframes are a basic design plan of the user interface design that helps you to visualise the end result. With a focus on your conversion rate optimisation, your UI design demonstrates the customer journeys and how your visitors will navigate your site – all the way through to your checkout. Once we’ve worked together to confirm the UI structure, it’s on to what your site’s front end will look like – let’s mirror your brand identity, and positioning, maximising engagement at every opportunity, holding your customer’s attention for longer.
Build & Development.
Once we have the nod of approval from you, your eCommerce developers will get cracking on creating an easy-to-maintain, highly functional, eye-catching site.
As a conversion rate optimisation agency, we are driven by your sales targets as much as you are. We’ll build a simplified CMS that integrates with your existing systems, making life much easier, whether that’s your website maintenance, your stock management or the order delivery process itself.
Content.
If you’re existing content is working for you, we will migrate this across to the new platform. If it’s in need of a refresh, or you simply feel that it isn’t working quite how it could, we can help you to create conversion rate optimised content that speaks directly to your target audience.
It’s likely that you’ll need to supply us with a few things, such as branding or product imagery, but once we have that, we’ll set to uploading this, building all visual elements of your new site.
If you are upgrading to Magento 2, or from another platform altogether, we’ll formulate an SEO site migration plan, carefully setting up and testing your redirections so there’s no negative impact on your SEO domain authority.
Testing.
Downtime costs money. We test, test, test – and then test your site some more to make sure that you experience no unnecessary downtime. Once all is working as it should, we’ll check-in on your site’s functionality, too. With page load speed now vital for your site’s SEO, we’ll make sure that your site delivers super-fast speeds, utilising performance-enhancing themes, like Hyvä.
Launch.
Ok, we lied; this is the most exciting part. When you are happy with the final version of your site – we will naturally run a few final checks before we hit the launch button. Once it is live, we’ll continue to test and monitor performance for the next few days, post-launch. That’s it; you’re all set to sell, sell, sell.
