Magento Ninja Developer Required
PHP/Magento Developer required for Chester agency
If you’ve got experience with WordPress and Magento, then we’ve got an opportunity for you in our Chester office. We’re looking for a PHP developer with ninja-level skills to fill a full-time, permanent position which is salaried at £35,000 – depending on just how experienced a ninja you are!
What do I need?
You’ll need to have been working with WordPress and Magento for at least three years in a commercial environment, as you’ll be working with both platforms to provide our clients the service they demand. An in-depth knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5 and CSS3 (particularly SASS/LESS) is also a necessity, as you’ll need to hit the ground running. But as well as bringing experience with you, you’ll also need more general problem solving skills, and the ability to learn and develop as you work with us.
What else might help?
While it’s not a requirement, applicants would benefit from having certification in Magento and MySQL – as this will allow us to be confident in your ability before you get started. While Magento 2 hasn’t been around for very long, experience with the newer version would also be a plus, as that’s the platform you’ll be using going forward. Some experience with image-processing software like Fireworks and Photoshop would also be favourable.
What do I get in return?
Successful applicants enter an environment that’s tremendously rewarding to work in, and offers numerous opportunities for personal and professional development. Our team is passionate and inclusive, and will help you to become an even better PHP developer.
You’ll also have the challenge of working with leading brands, and helping them to achieve their growth objectives (and to define those objectives in the first place). At Actuate, we’re keen that your career doesn’t stagnate, and so we offer regular appraisals and personal development plans to help you along the way.
As well as helping you to develop professionally, we’ll also help you to keep yourself in good physical shape. You’ll get twenty-eight days holiday a year, as well as £150 towards any eye tests, glasses or contact lenses you might need. You’ll also benefit from a bike-to- work scheme, and have the opportunity to attend a raft of social events throughout the year (and be paid to do so!).
To cap it off, we run a relaxed dress code, so you’ll be able to work PHP miracles in comfort and style. If all of this sounds interesting, then why not apply today? You might be just the difference-maker we’re looking for!
